Draw alongside the silence of stone
Until its calmness can claim you.
Be excessively gentle with yourself.

John O’Donohue

Sometimes you just need to talk about something—not to get sympathy or help, but just to kill its power by allowing the truth of things to hit the air.

Counsellor – Psychotherapist

About Me

I am a qualified counsellor and psychotherapist and a fully accredited member of the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP) working to their professional and ethical guidelines. I hold an honours degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy from IICP College and I am trained in Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST) and the Therapeutic Use of Mindfulness. I am also trained in working in a neuro-affirming way with Autistic and otherwise neurodivergent adults.

My work experience to date includes education and training as well as project management in the voluntary and public sectors. I am now in private practice in North Meath where I offer one-to-one, face-to-face, or online counselling appointments to people over 18.

My Work

I facilitate a confidential, non-judgemental safe place for us to talk about and work together on the things that matter to you. Whether the issues come from your past or present life or your plans for the future, nothing is too big or too small to bring to counselling. I listen carefully to your story, together we can explore what will help you at this time in your life. I work in an integrative manner drawing from Person-Centred Therapy, Choice Theory, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness practices and various other methods that may be helpful to you.
